There has been a noticeable increase in the number of phishing attacks as more people are being targetted with fake emails and malicious links.
Although fake, these are sophisticated emails so here are some tips on what to look out for and how to protect your business when working from home:
✅ Don’t click on links sent by people you don’t know or have not had any contact with for a considerable period of time.
✅ Be mindful of “click-bait” headings such as “Is this you in the video?”
✅ Check the email address of the person sending you the email – it may appear to be from someone you know, but check the actual address.
✅When in doubt – call the person who the email is from to double-check.
